Classic Victorian village local with original cast-iron lattice windows, in a tiny isolated hamlet close to both Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire. There is an aquarium in the lounge bar. Occasional quiz nights are held. An annual beer festival takes place in September. Parties can pre-book food at times when it is normally unavailable, however regular food vans are available at weekends.
